Facilities Team Member - Sanitation Associate

Full Time/1st Shifts Available (Sundays - Saturdays)

Must be able to work on weekends.

 

Job Description

Purpose of the Position: The Facilities Team Member  is responsible for all the activities involved in maintaining cleanliness and food safety environment in production areas, surrounding areas and equipment. 

 

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitation of all workspaces before and after production and fills all respective logs.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all restrooms, locker rooms and break rooms in the warehouse during production and fills all  respective logs
• Performs weekly inventory of PPE (Hairnets, Gloves, Beard Nets) 
• Responsible for the inventory of all linens/uniforms and coordinates laundry pickups and dropoffs with supplier 
• Disposing of trash into dumpsters, recycling  
• Works with management to create a maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery
• Perform other tasks as directed by managers 
• Must follow all SOP’s and Safety Regulations    

• Regular and timely attendance 

 

Non-Essential Functions:

• Promptly communicate all safety related issues and concerns
• Any and all other functions as determined by management

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

 

Required Experience/Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 1 year of sanitation/cleaning experience 

• Demonstrated ability to speak, read and understand and follow instructions in English. 
• Ability to dilute chemicals safely 
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices 
• Ability to adjust to sudden changes or operational goals 
• Detail oriented 
• Interacts well with others. Good team player 
• Commitment to work until job is completed

 

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. boxes 
• Standing, stooping and climbing
• Ability to negotiate throughout production and warehouse areas unassisted without disrupting regular production and warehouse activities

 

Working Conditions:

• Warehouse and office environment
• Exposure to cleaning solutions
