Job Description:

The Merchandising team is responsible for the development, launch, promotion, and management of products in the rapidly growing HelloFresh Market. In this role, you’ll take the lead on driving discovery, awareness, and uptake in the Market. You’ll design the Marketing, Positioning, Merchandising, and Tech strategies and bring them to life by partnering with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Tech, Product Development, Pricing, Creative, and Content Management. You will also work with the Merchandising and Planning Associate to develop and maintain our assortment plan and merchandising calendar.

Key Responsibilities include …

Driving discovery, awareness, and uptake of HelloFresh Market products:

  • Establishing measurable KPIs for Uptake and Engagement across key customer segments, as well as actionable reporting & analysis
  • Designing marketing strategy; developing tailored, cross-channel marketing campaigns in coordination with channel managers
  • Developing and leading the execution of the Merchandising Calendar, including marketing campaigns, creative assets, pricing strategy, and physical product assortment
  • Partnering with the Global Tech team to prioritize the development of site functionality and features to build a best in class UX
  • Partnering with Pricing team to design and implement a comprehensive promotional strategy

Developing and maintaining our assortment strategy & digital menu:

  • Partnering with the Merchandising & Planning Associate to develop quarterly and weekly assortment plans 
  • Owning the positioning and go-to-market strategy for our digital menu - including categorization, filters, and photography - in coordination with Creative and Content Management teams
  • Partner with Forecasting, Procurement, and Operations Planning to bring assortment plans to life

At a minimum, you have...

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant area of study
  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting, e-Commerce, D2C subscription or related field
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
