Job Description:
The Director, Logistics Network Strategy will be responsible for overseeing and managing our complex, growing logistics network that connects our operations with our customers.
As a senior leader in our logistics team you will bring analytical rigor, knowledge of operational processes, and creativity to identify and deliver cost savings, performance improvements, improvements to the customer experience, and set the department's strategic priorities. The Director, Logistics Network Strategy understands how details add up to strategic success and will deliver a clear roadmap to achieve the team's long-term goals. You will…
- Set the vision for our network then build consensus, communicate, and inspire a team to deliver on that vision.
- Work cross functionally with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to understand in-depth how our network operates from inbounding ingredients to delivering to customers.
- Be responsible to design and plan the distribution network to meet capacity needs, while minimizing total cost and improving customer satisfaction. Work with all brands to build common approaches and processes.
- Build an integrated planning process for our network over the short and long term that aligns all operational teams.
- You will be engaging, creative, open to ideas, and strong-willed to drive change. You will bring thought-leadership to how we can change our network to improve the customer experience, driving us to be the world’s leading D2C food solutions company.
- Build metrics to measure the effectiveness of our network, process, and identify defects or inefficiencies.
- Be a nimble problem solver; you need to work at all levels to delivery solutions to short-term and long-term problems.

At a minimum, you have...
- A undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Computer Science (or similar)
- 10+ years of related experience in a hands-on, analytical environment
- An integrative problem-solving approach, partnering across functions to deliver results in an ambiguous environment
- Strong project management skills with an ability to influence others
- Experience mentoring and managing talent
- Proven track record applying data analytics and KPI measurements to drive process improvement

Salary Range: $150,000-$160,000
Position is eligible to participate, contingent on Supervisory Board Approval, in HelloFresh's equity program.
