Job Description:

Due to growth, HelloFresh is hiring a Planning & Materials Associate at our distribution center! Location is flexible, NJ/CA/TX.  This exciting role will assist in the development of a new roll out system as it pertains to the production of meal shipments. As Planning & Materials Associate, you will build and maintain relationships with Operations, logistics, forecast, procurement, HR and other various departments in the company. We are looking for someone who likes change and enjoys problem solving, data driven and getting into the details to drive improvements every single day.

You will ...

• Forecast staffing needs, taking into account forecast volume, productivity and Staffing assumptions
• Assist in the development of Labor Forecasting tools
• Lead weekly meeting with HR and Operations across all sites to drive labor demand consensus, identifying all relevant assumptions (Labor S&OP). 
• Communicating rolling 6 weeks labor forecast at weekly basis
• Access risks and come up with solutions to mitigate risks
• Generate reports, tracking labor planning effectiveness, identifying opportunities and do improvements
• Provide updates to company leaders when necessary
• Uphold a high standard of customer service through real-time monitoring and other methods

You are / have ...

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business/ Supply Chain is preferred
• 2 years of experience in Demand/Supply Planning is preferred
• Strong ownership
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with, and ability to lead S&OP meetings
• Strong project management and continuous improvement skills
• Proven ability to quickly adapt and drive the right results using data
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed and resourceful. You thrive in a highly dynamic and unstructured environment but understand the value of adding structure and process. You don’t require a lot of direction.
• Excitement for working in a start-up environment with high level of ambiguity and change
