About the job

- As a Yard Operative your role will be vital in ensuring that the yard area is safe, clear and well organized at all times. You will be responsible for the quantity and the state of our assets on the yard, and prepare it to a “ready for collection” state.

What you will be doing:

• Ensure that the yard area is kept safe, clear and organized at all times
• Ensure all assets being kept on their dedicated locations, in a “collection ready” state
• To load and unload trailers as per the requirements of the business
• Support facilities and warehouse when requested
• Regular asset count on the yard and the shopfloor
• Daily safety walk
• Use of counterbalance for general yard duties
• Report progress and issues to the Yard Supervisor/Inventory Coordinator

Who you are:

• Previous experience in a similar role (including Warehouse, Inventory…) is preferred
• MHE experience preferred
• Able to work weekends
• Keen eye for detail
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Energy, enthusiasm, positive, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
• Strong work ethic
• Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Great sense of humour
