Job Description

The Head of Supply Chain  is responsible for successful execution of weekly operation and continuous improvement of operational excellence. You would be part of a true start up and the journey of growing HelloFresh in NZ. We are looking for someone who can commit Full-Time.

You will…

  • Have end-to-end ownership of the weekly fulfilment operation
  • Build scalable processes that allows us to plan our supply chain on multiple time horizons
  • Be responsible for managing a team of 7 people across different functions
  • Become a subject matter expert in all aspects of HelloFresh’s supply chain management
  • Develop metrics and tools that bring visibility into performance, scale easily, and lead to actionable recommendations to improve the quality of our operation
  • Ideate and implement strategic cross-functional projects autonomously
  • Manage the operational implementation of New Product Development into all aspects of the supply chain

You have…

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in Supply Chain, or related; at minimum, high school diploma with no less than 5 years’ relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Vendor Management or (food) Manufacturing
  • 3+ years of supplier or vendor management, including presentations, negotiations, on-boarding/off-boarding, performance evaluations, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience managing a team
  • Well-versed in quality systems, food safety regulations, HACCP, SQF, GMPs
  • Efficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Google app (Gmail, drive, sheets, etc.), and Tableau capabilities

Start Date: Immediately Available

Duration: 14 Months Maternity Contract -  You must have the right to work full-time in New Zealand.
