Job description

We have a brand new opportunity as a Procurement New Product Development (NPD) Specialist with HelloFresh Australia. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Procurement, you will lead the end to end sourcing and onboarding of new SKUs and suppliers to deliver against HelloFresh’s NPD pipeline. 

This role will act as a central role between the Procurement Category Managers and every other team involved in the onboarding of new products including Product Innovation, Culinary and the Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) teams. . 

You will…

• Coordinate the end to end Procurement onboarding process (including product sourcing, sampling, testing and production roll out)
• Act as a single point of contact for any business stakeholder across all ingredients categories for new product onboardings
• Project Manage NPD onboardings and ensure NPD roadmap is 100% delivered against agreed timelines
• Work closely with the Procurement Category Managers to leverage and source new products from existing suppliers and engage with new suppliers when required
• Build out a network of flexible and agile suppliers that will boost HelloFresh innovation capacity whilst performing at the highest operational standards 
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and improve workings between Procurement and other teams 
• Have end-to-end ownership of the NPD portfolio on behalf of Procurement and drive process improvement initiatives to achieve faster speed to market and ultimately deliver a better experience to our customers

You have/are...

• 3-5 years overall experience including 2+ years of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Supplier Relationship Management
• Bachelor’s degree / Masters in Supply Chain/Procurement, Project Management (or equivalent) 
• Management Consulting (Procurement/Supply Chain) experience will be highly regarded 
• Exceptional written and spoken communication
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to deliver outstanding results in cross functional environments
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Food Industry experience preferred but not a must
• Excellent quantitative and analytical experience, including solid comfort with Excel
• Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work
• Entrepreneurial, can make things happen and make decisions under time pressure

Location: Chippendale Head Office -  flexibility to work part time from home
