The job

For our young and high-performing team, we are looking for operational buyers who will be an integral part of the team, making sure our weekly supply of ingredients get delivered on-time, in-full and at the highest quality.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for you to be part of a true scale-up and part of the journey in launching and growing HelloFresh in the Nordics.

You will be based out of our Nordic head office in Island Brygge, Copenhagen with 50 colleagues, working directly with our Nordic suppliers. Preferably you are proficient in one or more Scandinavian languages.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of managing the weekly supply of our ingredients to ensure our customers receive high-quality ingredients in time
• Work with suppliers to ensure on-time, on-spec deliveries or discuss shortages/missed deliveries
• Coordinate with our Production team to ensure the exact quantity and quality of items are delivered to our warehouse
• Create and maintain purchasing files, inventory files and price lists
• Assist with cost reporting and invoice validation
• Track and report on supplier performance
• Assist with analyses, tenders and managing supplier relationships together with category managers

Who we are looking for 

• A structured approach to work, detail orientation and you take pride in what you do
• A positive “whatever it takes” mentality that drives you to find solutions quickly and whenever needed
• Passionate about our business: a foodie and an operations and problem-solving zealot
• Proactive, confident in manner and are able to deal with a large and complex network of suppliers delivering a large quantity and variety of perishable products
• Solid analytical skills - good command of Excel/Google Sheets is a must
• Ideally a few years of experience in procurement, working in a comparable role
• Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Professional proficiency in Swedish, Danish and/or Norwegian is a big plus
